Robert Edward See, 85, of Mathias, WV passed away January 5, 2025 at Sentara RMH Medical Center.

He was born December 13, 1939 in Hershey, Pennsylvania, to the late Lory and Mae Riffey See.

Bob was an electrician for Trumbo Electric before retiring.  He served in the U.S. Air Force as an aircraft mechanic.  He was a member of Crab Run Church of the Brethren in Mathias.  He loved hunting, fishing, and shooting pool - where he was known as "side pocket Bob".  He enjoyed gardening, cutting wood, and being outside.

On May 18, 1962 he married the former Catherine Sager, who survives.

He is also survived by his daughter, Melissa Tyree and husband Derek of Rockingham; son, Allen See and wife Annette of Mathias, WV; grandchildren, Dane Spitzer of Broadway, Keely Spitzer of Richmond, Stephen See of Powhatan, VA , Krystal Mongold of Mathias; great grandchildren, Paislee Spitzer, Krew Spitzer, Harrison See, Graham See, Caleb See, Lukas Mongold, Leighton Mongold; and one sister, Sandra Bitner of Reading, PA.

Bob's siblings, Kathryn Hussein, Betty Machuski, and Lory See, Jr. preceded him in death.

At Bob's request, he will be cremated, and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
