Robert "Bob" Smucker Good, 88, of Rockingham, VA passed away November 11, 2025 at his residence.

He was born on September 15, 1937 in Timberville to the late Roy William and Anna Smucker Good.

Bob worked at Dunham Bush before retiring.  He was a member of Spring Creek Church of the Nazarene in Bridgewater.

On November 20, 1961 he married the former Carolyn Mae Dove, who preceded him in death November 6, 2023.

Bob is survived by one daughter, Laura Gochenour and husband Johnny of Broadway; one son, Steven Good of Broadway; grandchildren, Cory Good (Carla), April Lee (Brandon), Megan Bowman, Wes Bowman, Jennifer Harris (David), Samantha Good; a number of great grandchildren; and one brother, Danny Good of Louisiana.

He was preceded in death by two sons, Terry and Richard Good; one daughter, Christina Good; siblings, Everette Good, Lois Taylor, Mary Sue Vanhuss, Hilda Coleman, and William Good.

Pastors Billy Curry and Steven Lloyd will conduct a graveside service 11:00 AM Friday at Caplinger Cemetery in Criders.

A guestbook will be available to sign Thursday from 9 AM – 7 PM at Grandle Funeral Home in Broadway.
