Robert Lee Taylor, 50, of Broadway passed away March 13, 2026 at the Sentara RMH Medical Center in Harrisonburg.

He was born July 11, 1975 in Harrisonburg to the late Harold F., Jr.  and Mary Lee Halterman.

Robert worked as a wastewater operator for Georges in Harrisonburg.  He was a jack of all trades and could fix any vehicle you put in front of him. He knew only one speed and that was FAST. He was an avid outdoorsman; loving to hunt and fish.  Robert was a fierce protector, loved having fun and pranking everyone. He was a great teacher to his daughter, loved his grandson and the time they spent together, and Leo loved to be picked up by him whenever he visited.

Surviving is his longtime companion, Heather Ralls; a daughter, Angela Taylor; grandson, Leo Fauls; brother, Harold F. Taylor III; sisters, Kelly Taylor and Amelia Martinez; nieces, Frances, Tiffanie, Brittanie, Bianca, Anna, Haley, Vanessa, Jennifer; nephews, Brian, Steven, Brady; and numerous great nieces and nephews; aunt, Linda; uncles, Moses Halterman and lifetime companion Rick Dyson, Benny.

At Roberts request his body will be cremated and there will be no services at the funeral home.
