On October 18, 2025, Robert A Wilder arrived at his eternal home.

He was the son of the late Robert C. and Gertrude Tinklepaugh Wilder.

He was employed by W.A. Hartman Memorials. He was also a licensed minister and attended Timberville Nazarene Church.

On November 18, 1966, he married the former Linda Dahmer who proceeded him in death June 23, 2024.

Robert is survived by a daughter Cheryl Flynn and husband Lewis of Timberville, sons; Robert Wilder of Mathias WV, Doug and Michelle Wilder of Port Republic VA, Jason and Cindy Wilder of McGaheysville VA., brother Kevin Wilder and wife Donna of Washington State, 16 grandchildren and 19 Great grandchildren and his dog "Sable".

Per his wishes his body will be cremated, and a Celebration of Life will be held November 22, 2025 at 1:00 at the Timberville Church of the Nazarene in Timberville.
