Ronald Eugene Harrison, 71, of Broadway, VA passed away January 16, 2025 at his sister's residence.

He was born January 9, 1954 in Harrisonburg, VA to the late Julian and Alva Phillips Harrison.

Ronald worked as a wastewater manager at VPGC in Hinton before retiring.  He was a member of Mayland Christian Church.  He played softball for the Sportsman and Hillside softball teams.  He loved to watch the Washington Redskins and loved to hunt and fish.

Surviving are two daughters, Sabrina Harrison, Ashley Bosserman (Paul); granddaughter, Carley Bare; grandson, Garrett Bosserman; two sisters, Susan Harrison, Karen Harrison; two brothers, Charles Harrison (Nancy), Kenneth Harrison (Sharrie); nephews, Nick Harrison, Michael Harrison; nieces, Brandy Baker (Greg),Brittany Mitchell; great nieces, Brielle Baker, Carter Harrison; great nephew, Grayson Mitchell; brother-in-law, Steve Prater; half-sisters, Beverly Humphrey, Barbara Douglous.

He was proceeded in death by a sister, Kimberly Harrison Prater.

Pastor James Robbins will conduct a funeral service 1:00 PM Thursday at Grandle Funeral Home chapel in Broadway.  Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery in Mayland.

The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 PM Wednesday at Grandle Funeral Home.
