Sharon Buchanan Daniel, 78, of Timberville VA, formerly from Halifax VA, passed away on February 11,2024 at Sentara RMH Health Center in Harrisonburg VA.

She was born January 13, 1946 in Danville Va to the late Felix McKinley and Virginia Betty Guill Buchanan.

Sharon worked for and ran her husband's Veterinarian Animal Health Center in Halifax.  She was an avid NASCAR fan, enjoyed making wreaths and flower arrangements, and loved listening to music. Her grandsons were the love of her life.

On October 3, 1970 she married the late Dr. H.B. Daniel, Jr. who preceded her in death on August 31, 2002.

Sharon is survived by daughters; Amy Daniel of Timberville VA, Kelley Lewis and husband Owen of Halifax VA, sons; Henry Daniel and wife Lydia of Cluster Springs VA, Charles Daniel of Newport News VA, grandchildren; Layne Shiflet of Wendel NC, Ty Miller of Timberville VA, brother; Charles Edward Buchanan of Amelia, "Special son" raised in the home, Robert Ross and wife Sherry and family of St. Catherines, Canada, beloved Chihuahua Ginger ,cats; Mia and Buttons.

The services will be private.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Broadway Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 666, Broadway VA  22815.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Grandle Funeral Home in Broadway VA.
