Sherry Davis Ritchie, 80, of Lacey Spring, died October 29, 2024 at Sentara RMH Medical Center in Harrisonburg.

She was born April 12, 1944 in Rockingham County and was a daughter to the late George and Mildred Boyers Davis.

She retired from Marshalls Distribution Center in Bridgewater and most recently had worked at Dollar Tree.

On May 20, 1961 she married Trenton C. Ritchie, Sr., who preceded her in death on August 23, 2001.

Surviving are two sons; Trenton C. Ritchie, Jr., of Harrisonburg, Anthony L. "Andy" Ritchie and wife Cathy, of New Market, six grandchildren; Jordan Ritchie, Mikayla Ritchie, Brian Ritchie, Cody Ritchie, Ashley Augustine and husband Greg, Cassie Hall and husband Cory, five great grandchildren; Cohen Hall, Cade Hall, Cooper Thompson, Charlee Augustine, Liam Augustine, one sister; Debbie Smith and husband Gary, of Turleytown, and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sons; Michael Ritchie, Brian Ritchie, grandson; Brad Ritchie, and three brothers; Butch Davis, Bobby Davis, Ronnie Davis.

She will be cremated and a Celebration of Life, Saturday  November 2, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Mt. Jackson Moose Lodge in Mt. Jackson VA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Grandle Funeral Home in Broadway.
