Susan Lynn Webster, 69, of Rockingham passed away August 2, 2026 at her residence.

She was born February 3, 1957 in Harrisonburg VA to the late Russell and Nola Sirk Simmers, Jr.

Susan was a 1975 graduate of Broadway High School and a faithful member of Mayland Christian Church. She worked in retail merchandising for many years. Susan found great joy in spending time with her beloved grandchildren, who were the light of her life. She enjoyed cross-stitching, traveling and camping, and cherished the many memories made along the way. Susan also shared a special bond with her beloved cat, Rosey.

On August 30, 1975 she married Les Webster who survives.

In addition to her husband, Susan is survived by her daughter, Sarah Turner (JP); son, Stephen Webster; grandchildren, William Turner and Nolan Turner.

Pastor Linda Waggy will conduct a memorial service Saturday August 15, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Grandle Funeral Home Chapel in Broadway. Burial will follow at Bethel Church of the Brethren Cemetery. Per Susan's wishes her body was cremated.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
