Terry Lee Dove, 67, of Bergton, VA passed away May 27, 2025 at his residence.

He was born June 2, 1957 in Harrisonburg to the late Elmer "Herb" Herbert, Jr. and Alda Lee Sherman Dove.

Terry had worked at Agri of Virginia in Broadway for 40 years.  He was a member of Bergton Ruritan Club for 41 years and had perfect attendance.  He was the recipient of the 2024 Ruritan of the Year for devotion to the club and community.  He was a member of Mathias Church of the Brethren.  He enjoyed hunting, gardening, mowing yards, and working at the Bergton Fair.

On December 5, 1975 he married the former Victoria "Vicki" Diehl who preceded him in death July 25, 2017.

Terry is survived by his son, Nathan Dove and wife Crystal of Criders; his granddaughter, Calie Dove of Criders; and his brother, Larry F. Dove of Mathias, WV.

Pastors Bob Curns and Dennis Lantz will conduct a funeral service 2:00 PM Saturday at Mathias Church of the Brethren.  Burial will be in the Mathias Mennonite Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 PM Friday at Grandle Funeral Home in Broadway.
