Thomas Harold Salyer, 87, of Broadway, VA passed away September 15, 2026 at his residence.

Thomas was born December 20, 1938 in Nickelsville, VA to the late Olen and Madge E. Nickels Salyer.

He was the owner and operator of Salyer Mobile Home Transport, Inc. He was a member of the Melrose Bird Hunt Club and the Walking Horse Association. He also owned and operated Springbrook Stables.

Thomas was preceded in death by his daughter, Cindy Salyer.

He is survived by his children, Gil Salyer, Lisa Travis, Perry Salyer (Melissa), Amanda Cousins; his partner of 40 + years, Faye Fulk; 3 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; one sister, Barbara Testerman (Jim).

Pastor Clayton Justice will conduct a memorial service at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 2, 2026 at Grandle Funeral Home in Broadway. The family requests dressing casually. In accordance with Thomas’ wishes, he was cremated.
