Vincent Wayne Raines, 74, of Harrisonburg, died January 20, 2024 at his home.

He was born October 29, 1949 in Rockingham County and was a son to the late Lloyd Franklin Raines and Elsie Novella Morris Feagans.

He was a truck driver for Interchange Group in Harrisonburg.  He enjoyed helping at the local veteran's clubs in Harrisonburg; AmVets, VFW and American Legion.  Vincent was an avid pool player, bowler, softball player and held a track record at Montevideo High School.

On July 13, 2009 he married the former Lea-Ann Ritchie, who survives.

Also surviving are a daughter; Jacalyn Raines, of Harrisonburg, two stepchildren; Brian and Cody Ritchie, two siblings; Syvilla Patterson, Louis Raines, four grandchildren; David Orebaugh, Jr., Meagan Wingate, Tayler Fitz-Sloan and husband Donte, Torry Short and six great grandchildren; Ben, A.J., Taydon, Kartyr, Kari, Cannon.

He was preceded in death by his daughter; Cheryl Orebaugh, stepfather; Francis "Pete" W. Feagans and sister; Norma McKinley.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be February 3 at 2:00 pm at AmVets Post #7 in Harrisonburg.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Grandle Funeral Home in Broadway.
