William Franklin Murry, 78, of Broadway, died October 26, 2023 at Blue Ridge Rehab and Nursing in Harrisonburg.

He was born October 20, 1945 in Daphna and was a son to the late William Bryant and Ruth Ellen Feddon Murry.

He had worked as a mechanic for T&C Automotive.  He was a U.S. Army Veteran.

On April 20, 1974 he married the former Margaret Varner, who survives.

Also surviving are two nephews; Daniel A. Cline, II, of Harrisonburg, Jeff A. Cline, of Harrisonburg.

He was preceded in death by two sisters; Eleanor Whetzel, Juanita Cline, and a niece; Diana Summers.

Pastor Joel Robinette will conduct a private graveside service at Linville Creek Cemetery in Broadway.

There will not be any services at Grandle Funeral Home in Broadway.
