Wilma Mae Lemons, 76, of Timberville passed away January 18, 2024 at the Sentara RMH Medical Center in Harrisonburg.

She was born May 22, 1947 in Upshur Co., WV to the late Fred and Rosa Browning Nitz.

Wilma worked for 40 years as a nurse at RMH and later at VMRC.  She loved her family, sun tanning, camping and cooking.

On May 3, 1966 she married Jimmie R. Lemons, Sr., who survives.

Also surviving are sons, Jimmie R. Lemons, Jr. and wife Debbie, Rick Lemons and wife Carol; granddaughters, Paula Lemons and fiancé Macen, Courtney Mills and husband Justin, Samantha Keplinger and husband Cody; great grandchildren, Laken, Lydia, Lane, Stetson, and one on the way.

Her body was cremated, and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
